Great experience. The staff and volunteers were very nice. I did hope for more protein options and many items had a limit of one item. This can be a challenge when only shopping once a month. Other than that, I’m extremely thankful for the blessings! Thank you!!

I've shopped here for several months now. You are assigned points according to your family size, and income. You can still participate with non USDA items if you earn too much. Selections vary each month but I've seen cereals, nuts, raisins, peanut butter, canned fish, soup, crackers, and sometimes fresh produce or frozen meat. You can choose your items according to what your family likes and points available. The volunteers are very kind and don't try to convert you, although they would likely pray with you if you asked.

The system they use is made very clear & easy for the shopper to understand. You are able to get a lot of items for the amount of points given for each visit! It is definitely a helpful resource for those in a time of need.

I love being able to come here and shop every month to help fill in the gap in my grocery budget. There are always LOTS of options and I NEVER have to worry about the food being fresh and not expired. They are continuing to expand their food choices and now even offer meat. Yes you heard me correctly l, they offer meat. Oh and P.S. YOU get to choose what groceries you buy. You get to go around the store and shop just like you would at a retail grocery store. I am so thankful to Church that Matters for this very much needed outreach in our community. Bravo!!
